Establishes contingency measures for driving instruction activities, exams and training activities for professional certification.

Considering that in the context of the current positive evolution of the epidemiological situation in Portugal, the exceptional and temporary measures related to the COVID-19 disease pandemic in the sectors of driving instruction, driving tests and training for the certification of professionals should be aligned with the measures determined by Decree-Law 78-A/2021, of September 29;

Considering that Order 5546/2020, of May 16, amended by Order 7254-A, of July 16, establishes several contingency measures for driving instruction activities, exams and training activities for professional certification, which should be reviewed and aligned with the survey of measures defined by the Government:

Therefore, orders the Government, by the Secretary of State for Infrastructure, within the scope of the powers delegated by no. 2 of Order 11146/2020, of November 2, of the Minister of Infrastructure and Housing, as follows:

1 - As these are places of education and training, it is compulsory to wear a mask on the premises of driving schools, examination centers and training centers, as provided for in article 13b(1)(c) of Decree-Law 10-A/2020, of March 13, as amended by Decree-Law 78-A/2021, of September 29.

2 - It is also compulsory for all occupants of vehicles used for teaching and driving tests and for practical training in the context of professional certification to wear a mask.

3 - Driving schools, test centers and training entities must ensure the hygiene of spaces and equipment associated with the activity, including vehicles, complying with the guidelines of the Directorate-General for Health.

4 - Orders 5546/2020 of May 16 and 7254-A/2020 of July 16 are hereby revoked.

5 - This order shall take effect on the date of its signature.
